633.56.06 Allium cepa, Case
Man, 35, hayfever.
He has hayfever with pricking in his eyes, itching, lachrymation and redness.
His nose is obstructed with itching and a watery acrid discharge.
It is worse in the evening around 9 pm and worse in May.
He has sneezing worse from grass and hay, worse from blowing his nose and worse from change of temperature, going form inside to outside or from outside to inside.
He is tired and irritated with the complaints.
He feels better inside and from taking a shower and worse from exertion.
He has had a cystitis form cold and later twice an urethritis with white mucous discharge.
In the past he also had stitching in his heart region.
He has frequent coryza.
He has problems in his marriage. His wife has an aversion to sex, whereas he has a strong desire. He does not know what to do with this situation.
He is quite nervous and impatient.
Fears: firework, heights.
Weather: <- thunderstorm, <- draught.
Sweat: copious, easy.
Time: < 9 pm.
Desire: sweet, spicy.
Aversion: red vegetables.
Food: < paprika.
Analysis
The hayfever is characteristic for Allium cepa: bland tears, acrid discharge from the nose, < 9 pm, > inside.
The marriage problems fit with Allium cepa.
The cystitis, urethritis and heart problems are in accordance with the remedy.
Follow up
After Allium cepa MK the hayfever subsided soon.
In general he felt much better, more energetic, less nervous.
He needed a few repetitions in the following years, every time in May.
