Woman, 40, infertility.
Her mother was a very childish woman, always expecting others to please her. She never took the lead, and avoided responsibility, thinking of it as something heavy and limiting. Her mother placed her father on a pedestal but expected him to pamper her in return. After her mother had children she was in competition with them for attention from their father. Her mother knew about the disadvantages of pregnancy, as it takes a lot of energy. Her mother often complained to her, which led to a conflict of loyalty in her towards her father.
