5.o. Ranunculus scleratus
The vesicant buttercup is widespread in the Netherlands. The plant occurs in wet, nitrogen-rich soil and on (and in) ditches. Flowering time: May-September. The numerous flowers are relatively small, 5-0 mm in diameter, and are found in branched racemes. The plant is poisonous.
