A woman with chronic sinusitis

The intake took place in July 2001. It concerns a woman with a chronic maxillary sinusitis. The nose is completely closed.
Nose blockage worse lilies, lying, evening, cats, house dust. Worse cold and humid weather.
Worse with hustle and bustle around her, e.g. from in-laws. Feeling that she has to protect herself, in-laws very primary, she is more secondary. Sensitive to criticism of mother-in-law, e.g. the fact that she also works as a mother.
Sometimes palpitations are worse for fat and alcohol.
Medical history
As a child, eczema.
Previously winter greens and hands.
Regular stomach flu: diarrhoea with heavy spitting.
In December 2000 she had a middle ear infection, on the right side.
Temperature
Cold.
Does not sweat much.
Desires/aversions
Desires: cheese, savoury, chocolate, fish, bacon
Aversion: broad beans, rhubarb
Intolerances: fat and milk.
Previously loved acid and lemon.
Relief: normal.
Person
Mother of two children, job as a lawyer employee. A year and a half at home because of overstrain. "I was a pawn in a power struggle". Not to cope with a dominant employer. Was for a while not being able to
to take care of the kids, mother-in-law came then in the house.
Theme in her life: being stuck in something
that she can't get out of. Can own space difficult
..take it.
Reaction
First requirement: Beryllium muriaticum MK(2 granules per 4 weeks)
Reaction after 8 weeks:
- first 2 weeks nose more open, after that a lot of constipation again
- 3-year-old son hangs less on her, more space for himself
- new complaint: stiffness of thigh muscles, left more than right. Sometimes a feeling of tightness in the legs.
Second prescription: drug X (2 granules per 4 weeks)
Reaction after 8 weeks:
- head much less full, nose open
- Brighter in head, feels less confusion
- "more in my power"
- Dream: In a car, it deteriorates very fast, one-way traffic. Nobody gets hit.
- Makes radical choices: decides to leave a man. "I choose for myself, don't let others cross my borders anymore".
Follow-up (7 months after middle X): doing very well, living on his own. Children stay with their husbands. Much less trouble with nose and sinuses.
