CASUS:
MW. R.D.
The intake took place in October 1995. This is a 29-year-old woman. Drama teacher at a high school. Also free-lance drama projects.
Main complaint:
She is in extreme pain during her period. The pain is very bad, like a delivery. It can cause panic. Cramping pains, one day takes 6 Ibuprofen. Sometimes has many contractions in a row. Is completely controlled by the pain (3).
Also has pain during ovulation. Pain in the ovaries left more than right, radiating to the inside of the thighs. Radiating to the thighs (3). In periods of pain, right more than left. Sometimes the ovulation pain starts and ends suddenly. Glowing sensation, can't focus her attention on anything else (crippling sensation).
Menarche: 12 years old. The painful symptoms started at the age of 15. She does not take a pill, the cycle is regular.
Other complaints:
Severe hypho-scoliosis from childhood. A lot of pain in the back muscles, fixed neck, pain between the shoulder blades and in the lower back. Chiropractic every 6 weeks.
In the past allergic bronchitis, hay fever. Allergic to tree pollen, cats, dogs, horses. As a child pseudo-croup.
Food and drink:
Desires: sweet, chocolate, bread, rice, vegetables, fruit, apples, goat cheese, coffee.
Aversions: egg, fatty meat.
Normal thirst.

Temperature:
Cold (2). Cold hands, feet and buttocks.
Loves the sun and the open air very much.
Often in doubt, difficulty making choices (3). Can things slide out, does she do so at the last moment? –
Very excited with drama, "I'm going for it. Very focused on people. Passionate.
Peak experiences (positive and negative). Heavy.
Very busy with all the work, so hardly any time for friends. Friends do appeal to her (e.g. girlfriend after a miscarriage). Conflict between work and private life.
She wants to move forward. Where others drop out, she goes on, even if she finds it difficult herself. Crossing borders.
Busy with free-lance projects, says yes to everything. Feels caressed in her ego when she is asked to do a job.
Drama teacher at school for children with learning or behavioural problems. Many problems with school management and other teachers about rules. Fiercely opposes it if all students have to do the same, if they have to comply with the rules. Fighting for your own place at school (3). Does not want to adapt to the school system.
Travels sometimes through Africa, has something to do with that continent: space, ancestors, animists, ancient cultures. Peace and quiet and space. Creation.
Does not like a straitjacket (2).
Doesn't want children yet, wants to keep speed and freedom of movement. 'When you are pregnant you become slow'. Fear of commitment.
She used to want to be a boy, climbing trees, adventures. Never wanted to wear a dress.

Dream: about 475 guilders.
Dream: boy has a toy pistol, is also a runner. He can use it to open her front door.
