Man, 55, burnout.
He has a burnout after several stresses. He has rebuilt his house. He lost his major client as a trainer, coach and lost his income. His wife has had an accident with whiplash and could not work for a long period and thus their income went down twice as much. They had to fight against the insurance company and their personal injury lawyers for compensation and had to sue them.
He was pushed by his environment, especially his wife to find a job, to do something, to make money. But he needed to find his nucleus. He is tired from all the lamenting of the clients, the people he is training. He feels harassed and tormented by the expectations and obligations of his wife and family. He has the inclination to leave, go away and travel or go back to a monastery, then the others are not burdened by him anymore. He feels harassed because he feels incompetent to express himself in such a way that others will understand him. He feels observed and commented on by his environment. For him a life question is “what to do”. He has an aversion to superficial psychotherapy, to do tests. He got an aversion to give aggression training for groups.
In early adolescence he decided to join a monastery. He was fascinated by eastern mysticism and spirituality and was struck by the honesty of the people in the cloister, doing and living what they were saying. He longed for spiritual growth and development. He shaved his long hair and beard. He left his family and friends and girlfriend. He was very disappointed that no-one came to ask him why he made that choice. He lost most of his relatives. Only his grandmother understood him and his spirituality, others thought he was crazy. After a decade he left the monastery because he felt that the people in the there were living too narrow-minded, living according to the rules. It was a difficult step as he was a leader, a super manager. He was married and had a child. They mostly had to deny sexuality. His wife had enough of the limited life in the monastery and the others in the monastery regarded him as a renegade. No-one wanted to talk with him about his motivation, there was no farewell party. Then he had a burnout.
He is practical, handy, can build houses.
Colour preference: 15B, 15D, 6C.
