644.35.12 Salix alba, Case
Woman, 60, haemorrhoids.
Her haemorrhoids bleed from pressure and stool. She has hypertension and anaemia. She gets stomach pain and vomiting from the iron medication.
She has a lot of stress, keeping the family and family home together. Her parents quarrelled a lot, lived mostly separated and she was the mediator. The family house has to be renovated and she is the only one taking responsibility for it. Her sister neglects the problem, one daughter lives on her own and the other wants to leave. She feels the stress of all the responsibilities, her sick parents, her daughter. In the past she was irritated about it but did not say anything. Lately it is all too much. Her mother is weak, ill and always moaning. She fears becoming like her mother. As a child her mother was always criticising her; whatever she did was never good enough. Her mother accused her of having spoiled her life, meaning that she had to marry because of her pregnancy.
She is divorced but has had all the responsibilities for the children. It hurts her that her daughters often appreciate her ex-husband more than her. He has abused her financially, does not want to give back a big loan she gave him. She has fear of asking him for money back, in case he will hurt her in some way.

Follow up
After Salix alba MK she gradually starts doing better. She feels more open, light and relaxed. Others tell her that she radiates joy. She trusts that things will come all right.
