665.15.08 Hydrangea arborescens, Case

Woman, 50, urticaria.
She has itching spots, swelling up in all possible places, < pressure, scratching, warmth, eating chocolate, < make up, premenstrual period, > hypnosis, massage.
Her menses is clotted, pains in the abdomen the first day, with paleness of face. The pain feels hard, tense, like a fist; before her menses her breasts are painful and hard, she is irritable and her appetite increased.
She has varicose veins, with stitching pain, < left side, < pregnancy.
She has chest oppression; ecchymosis; colicky pain in the left kidney; restless legs at night; detached gums.
Weather: chilly; cold feet, hands and nose.
Aversion: fat !, milk !.
Desire: chocolate !, liquorice !, salads and vegetables !.
Fond of plants, gardening, Hydrangea.
She has two children. She is very enthusiastic and open. She works as a teacher in a primary school. She is sympathetic, can be full of care, is often in a hurry and doing everything intensely; 100%. She can be bossy as she knows what she wants. She can even be clairvoyant. She says she is often too open and then grows tired and empty.
She can become hard when others see her as provocative, when she is not seen and recognised. She then feels twisted around, screwed. In primary school she would react when other children were treated unjustly. When the teacher would reprimand her, this would hurt her. She had to be in the right and could not support being punished and not being seen for who she was.
Fears: cancer; big fish, with jaws!
Analysis
Lanthanides: react when other children were treated unjustly.
Stage 8: provocative, bossy.
Hydrangeaceae: not seen and recognised.
Hydrangea: colic pain left kidney from calculus.
Follow up
After Hydrangea 200K she had no more pains and her urine became clouded for some days.
The remedy Hydrangea was repeated in 2003 when the patient felt she was becoming ‘harder’ again.
Medorrhinum, Zincum phosphoricum, Sepia, Ruta, Thuja had temporary or no effect.
