644.34.09 Euphorbia lathyris, Case
Woman, 35, herpes zoster.
She has small vesicles which are itching and very painful as of a toothache. It is on her right forehead, around her eye and goes together with headache, fever and vomiting. It is worse at 5 pm and after running. A lymph gland behind her ear is swollen and painful.
She is very angry at her supervisor for her dissertation. The dissertation is finished and in principle has been approved but she needs his final approval before it can go to the printer. But she cannot reach him and that is quite similar to how he was with her while writing her thesis, doing nothing for her. She is facing a deadline as the date for her graduation is set and time is getting short for the printing. The problem is that she cannot express her anger as she is dependent on her supervisor.
In her youth her mother used to manipulate her. It was difficult to let her parents down because then she would feel disloyal.
