655.42.12 Semecarpus anacardium, Case
Man, 40, indigestion.
He has a weak digestion. He has cramping pains in his stomach after a stress, which is worse from pressure and better from eating. The stomach pains are worse from touch, worse from fat, sweet and alcohol and go together with nausea.
His knees are a weak spot and they crack easily. He also has cracking in his shoulders. He has contractions of the tendons in his right hand. His back feels stiff, just like his joints which is better from stretching.
As a child he used to have recurrent asthmatic bronchitis. Colds mostly led to heavy coughing and pain in his sternum. He once had dipthheria and was put in quarantine.
At 18 he started working. At 26 he decided to study cultural anthropology. Now he works with young men from other cultures in psychiatric treatment. He himself is also from another culture and his family has many ethnic influences.
He is easily angry when something is not right. As a youngster he started fighting when someone said something wrong about him, his hair or his brother. He readily takes the position of the underdog and then starts quarrelling. But he can also be very friendly when he is approached in a friendly way.

Follow up
One month after Anacardium orientale MK his stomach pains are much less. The pains and tensions in his shoulder are still there but less. His stool is more regular and formed. He has more energy. He has started to think about how he used to reacted with his aggressively. He has become more cautious and less tense. He feels happier in himself.
