Symphoria racemosa

666.65.05 Symphoria racemosa, Case
Woman, 35, abdominal pain.
She has nausea during menses.
She was having a love affair with another woman from a very strict religious background. She did not dare to tell her parents. She was living far away with that girlfriend and never told anyone, not knowing how to go on with it. In the end she stopped the relationship out of fear it would come out and her parents would not approve. She was sad with a kind of love affair she grieved about and got a few depressions after that. Her parents worried about her, asking what was wrong. She told about the relationship and they said they would have liked to meet her.
She seems cheerful; lively, passionate; very emotional, laughing, hysterical, alternating with sadness.
She seems emotionally open and quite expressive.
As a child she had whooping cough and stayed in hospital; she did not say a word to her parents during that time. She felt forsaken. When she came home she started talking again.
She also had a tonsillectomy and thrombophlebitis.
She had amenorrhoea from using contraceptives. She had a strange feeling in her legs, as if she wanted to stamp her feet to throw something out.
